Departures Magazine visited Fredericksburg and found what makes it a “destination on the rise.” One of the tips is to visit Armadillo’s Leap Winery, and say that “the covered patio in the back offers a great perch from where to sip bubbles against a scenic Hill Country backdrop.”
KSAT visited Armadillo’s Leap Winery, as well as its sister winery Pedernales Cellars, and toured Kuhlken Vineyards, to see for itself the excellent vintage that is shaping up for harvest. Click here to see all the coverage of Texas Wine Country.
Arianna Auber of the Austin American-Statesman spent an afternoon at Armadillo’s Leap and calls it a fun addition to the Pedernales Cellars family of wine. Armadillo’s Leap is the sister winery to Pedernales Cellars, and both are owned and operated by the Kuhlken-Osterberg family. Arianna enjoys the relaxed feel of Armadillo’s Leap Winery and its experimental approach to winemaking. She recommends you take a glass of one of the winery’s playfully named wines and sit on the patio to enjoy the view. Click here to read the full article.
Armadillo’s Leap winery was named a winery worth visiting by KSAT. Why don’t you come out and see for yourself why? Cheers!
Very nice review of Armadillo’s Leap Winery here. It must be noted that the review seems to have visited during the winter, because we were serving the Glogg, which is now sold out.
